This is around the time each season when cold weather *might* impact a game or two (or three) each week. Sometimes the impact of wind is overblown (bad pun intended). But a forecast calling for 25+ mile-per-hour gusts could be a tiebreaker if you have a comparable option playing under a dome.
Today there are reports of relatively high winds in Chicago mixed with possible snow or rain. Green Bay also might see snow. Both cities will experience freezing temperatures, or something close to it. The Bears' and Packers' opponents are the Giants and Eagles, respectively. I'm still starting Wan'Dale Robinson and Dallas Goedert, but then again, I don't have any better options because of bye weeks.
If you're desperate for a running back, this isn't a bad week to roll the dice on Isaiah Davis and/or Terrell Jennings. The Jets and Patriots will face off again in four days. Maybe Breece Hall and TreVeyon Henderson will dominate touches today and cede more work to Davis and Jennings on Thursday. Or maybe both head coaches will keep things relatively balanced today and then turn Hall and Henderson a little more loose on Thursday.
Last week, Davis and Jennings each had 12 touches. No one would be shocked if it happens again. The point is that each team now has more incentive to be strategic with their RBs.
Good luck today.
