I’m out of town for 24 hours with no laptop Internet, so writing this on my five-year-old cracked iPhone. What could go wrong?
So will keep this brief while throwing it back to you: If you had to draft a player with an overall ADP of 250 or worse, who would it be?
Because every year, several of those guys turn out to be very draftable in most leagues. Heading into Week 1 last year, Wan’Dale Robinson was right at 250. Tucker Kraft stood at 301. Jauan Jennings: 308. And there were a plenty of spot starters for deep-leaguers with the space to stash high-upside backups like Isaac Guerendo (333).
Exactly one year earlier, impending breakout star Baker Mayfield had a 250 ADP, followed closely by Jerome Ford (257), Rashid Shaheed (270), Kyren Williams (276), and Josh Downs (280). Puka Nacua was the ultimate steal at 293. And so on.
Normally players this far down are sitting on waivers to start the season. And that’s largely to be expected. If a lot of people could easily predict their success, then their ADPs would be much better.
My favorite candidates this year are DJ Giddens (250 ADP), Kyle Monangai (263), and Michael Wilson (309). There are probably a dozen or more options as good or (as we might learn as soon as Week 1) better.
I’m really interested in hearing who you think will turn out to be a must-draft “undraftable“ player.
