Week 17 Sunday Football Preview

And just like that, Tee Higgins is the WR4 in points per game. Along with Joe Burrow (QB3) and Ja'Marr Chase (WR1), the Bengals have been the ultimate stack. If you went all in on Cincy's passing attack during the draft, you might be in line to win the title.

It's not a common thing, at least not to this extent. The last time a QB-WR-WR combo came close to such production was in 2021, when Tom Brady, Mike Evans, and Chris Godwin (and of course Antonio Brown until he walked off into the sunset) were all weekly must-start guys. The 2020 Seahawks were similarly effective with Russell Wilson, D.K. Metcalf, and Tyler Lockett. The last time two WR teammates finished in the top 5 was in 2019 (again, Evans and Godwin).

So it's not even a once-a-year thing. A lot of things have to go right. Usually too many things. But for the weekly must-win Bengals, owners of one of the league's worst defenses, it's a perfect storm of dominance. So if you drafted Burrow, Chase, and Higgins, would love to hear how you did this season.

Today, a few teams have something/everything to play for, and that clearly bodes well for managers leaning on those players. The Bucs, Eagles, Bills, Dolphins, Vikings, Packers, Commanders, Falcons, and Lions are all either fighting for a playoff berth or to improve their playoff seeding. But some of these teams -- like Philly and Miami -- are obviously in offensive turmoil with backup quarterbacks under center. Maybe Saquon Barkley and De'Von Achane won't be affected too badly. Everyone else is a huge question mark.

As always -- and particularly now -- good luck today.
