Happy Thanksgiving to those who celebrate. Obviously three potentially huge games today. Here are some big fantasy pressure points for each team:
Lions -- Assuming David Montgomery's active, how much will he play? Presumably they wouldn't risk rolling him out there if he were a significant re-injury risk. The hope is that Chicago puts up enough of a fight to keep Detroit's starters engaged. Amon-Ra St. Brown is a different kind of risky because he's entering the day questionable, Jared Goff has topped 30 pass attempts only once in his last nine games, *and* Jameson Williams is getting more consistently involved.
Bears -- Chicago's key playmakers have a narrow path for success against one of the league's premier defenses. In three of his four away games, Caleb Williams hasn't scored. In fact, the entire Bears offense has been quite bad on the road. This has the makings of a 25+ point loss. Maybe good news for one receiver, but that won't help most managers.
Cowboys -- Was Luke Schoonmaker's impressive Week 12 a fluke? With Jake Ferguson still sidelined, his backup could be a fantasy hero against a deflated Giants defense.
Giants -- Daniel Jones is now a Viking, and Tommy DeVito might never start another game. It's up to Drew Lock to lead an offense with nothing to play for except personal stats. However many points Chicago loses by (assuming that outcome is accurate), the Giants probably will lose by more. Malik Nabers has long settled into weekly must-start territory, but he's no longer a sure-fire top-20 WR.
Packers -- Romeo Doubs is out, so that helps thin the receiving corps a bit. Still, it's anyone's guess which guy(s) step up. Great news for Green Bay's balanced attack. Bad news for managers who just want to know if, for example, Jayden Reed will collect more than three catches.
Dolphins -- Will Jaylen Wright's "fumble-6" a few days ago keep him firmly behind Raheem Mostert on the depth chart? I still prefer Wright over Mostert in the fantasy playoffs. And can Jonnu Smith keep up his torrid pace?
Good luck today.
