With the Steelers and Niners on their bye and the Chiefs-Bucs on Monday, here's the biggest fantasy storyline I'm tracking for each of the other 26 teams:
Falcons -- Kyle Pitts was my preseason TE1. After a painful September culminating in an O'fer on three targets, he's hit double-digits in four straight games while averaging 6.8 targets, making him October's second-highest-scoring tight end. My bullishness this summer was based partly on an anticipated target bump. Let's see if that continues.
Cowboys -- This is either a get-right contest or a cry for help. Dak Prescott has never had a worse season. Is he a buy-low QB?
Bills -- How big a role will Amari Cooper play?
Dolphins -- Staring at the possibility of a 2-6 record, the values of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle are higher than they were a month ago, but not nearly as high as they should be.
Bengals -- Tee Higgins' injury woes might continue to open the door for Andrei Iosivas or third-round rookie Jermaine Burton.
Raiders -- Who will lead this backfield, and will it matter?
Browns -- Is Cedric Tillman now a weekly must-start WR?
Chargers -- Ladd McConkey is on pace for a 73-913-10 rookie campaign. Will a returning Quentin Johnston slow him down?
Titans -- Once again, how much can we trust Calvin Ridley, especially with DeAndre Hopkins long gone?
Patriots -- Hunter Henry has been more than serviceable since Drake Maye took over. A surprisingly key fantasy question is whether we can now view Henry as a weekly starter.
Giants -- One more pre-trade showcase of Darius Slayton's talents?
Commanders -- Austin Ekeler is quietly posting numbers that should keep him relevant regardless of whether he finds the end zone,
Panthers -- Will Xavier Legette out-perform Jalen Coker?
Saints -- Chris Olave might be one of fantasy's best buy-low wideouts. *Might* be.
Ravens -- What impact will Diontae Johnson make, particularly on Zay Flowers and Rashod Bateman?
Broncos -- Is Bo Nix a weekly fantasy starter, or will this trip to Baltimore bring him back to earth?
Eagles -- Saquon Barkley's passing-game usage has steadily declined. He needs more to elevate his floor beyond TD-dependency.
Jaguars -- There is no one player to focus on here. If they fall to 2-7, Jacksonville almost undoubtedly will be looking to 2025. Travis Etienne, as always, is a huge player to watch. I think he'll stay with this team, but plenty of smart people think otherwise.
Cardinals -- Can we now trust Marvin Harrison Jr.?
Bears -- Few QBs have been as hit-or-miss as Caleb Williams. The good news is that he ran more than ever last week, rushing nine times for 47 yards. Weekly fantasy startability hinges, in part, on whether he remains an active dual-threat quarterback.
Packers -- As always, which WRs can we trust?
Lions -- Will Sam LaPorta make up ground with Jameson Williams suspended for one more game?
Seahawks -- Again, Jaxon Smith-Njiba. To what extent is he an ascending wideout?
Rams -- Matthew Stafford has been, on average, fantastic when Cooper Kupp and Puka Nacua are both active.
Vikings -- Sam Darnold seems to be overvalued or undervalued depending on who you talk to.
Colts -- Joe Flacco is now the semi-permanent starter. Many managers are holding their breath, hoping they can safely start Josh Downs and/or Michael Pittman.
