Some of you have sit/start dilemmas today based on what might or might not happen tomorrow. So a quick rundown of the fantasy questions surrounding the Monday Night Football doubleheader.
Tennessee has scored the fifth fewest points, and Will Levis has thrown more interceptions than touchdown passes. I don't trust Tony Pollard, who's at risk of losing ground to Tyjae Spears as this (presumably broken) season continues. I'm not picking on the winless Titans. It's reality. They've already lost to the Bears, Jets, and Jordan-Love-less Packers. Before Thanksgiving they'll have road games against Buffalo, Detroit, and Houston. At some point there won't be a need to overwork Pollard, who signed a three-year contract this offseason.
Miami is also in a world of hurt, but with a strong enough backfield to keep the chains moving. Let's see if Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle can return to relevance with Tyler Huntley under center. I'm not convinced that Huntley is the answer. Only once has he thrown for more than one touchdown in his career, and in that game he attempted 40 passes. We should anticipate a more conservative game plan, making it difficult to trust that both Hill *and* Waddle will hit 12+ points.
For Seattle, Kenneth Walker will make his return. Is he still the bell cow? Probably not. We'll see. Zach Charbonnet saw a very respectable 10 touches in Week 1, though seven of those came after Walker got hurt. If Charbonnet gets maybe 7-9 touches tomorrow, good news for Walker. If Charbonnet gets 10+ (and if it's not a blowout), then -- depending on how he and Walker look -- it could signal that Charbonnet won't revert to a mere handcuff role anytime soon.
And Sam LaPorta remains a huge question mark for the Lions. Yes, he's now expected to play. But will he play enough to be useful in fantasy lineups? If you can replace him with a top-10 option, you might already be leaning toward sitting LaPorta. Makes sense. Play it safe. I don't have that luxury, so LaPorta's in my starting lineup. If he's ruled out before the kickoff, I'll replace him with backup Brock Wright.
Good luck today.
