As always on Saturdays, here's the most interesting fantasy storyline I'm tracking for each Sunday team--players whose values could swing dramatically by Monday morning:
Browns -- D'Onta Foreman's Week 2 usage put a scare in those who started Jerome Ford. Should Ford managers be worried?
Giants -- We'll learn a lot tomorrow about whether Wan'Dale Robinson is a weekly deep-league streamer. He's close. Need to see a little more.
Titans -- Calvin Ridley looked like the clear alpha last weekend vs. the aging and seemingly hobbled DeAndre Hopkins. Will this continue?
Packers -- With Marshawn Lloyd on IR and Josh Jacobs on pace for 425 touches, Emmanuel Wilson might be fantasy's most valuable under-the-radar handcuff.
Colts -- Is Michael Pittman droppable in 10-team leagues?
Bears -- As always, D'Andre Swift: The question is if/when Khalil Herbert will push for a timeshare.
Vikings -- As always, Aaron Jones vs. Ty Chandler. For my money, Chandler is a must-roster in 14+ team leagues.
Texans -- Several times I've shared my belief that Joe Mixon's handcuff isn't currently on Houston's roster. Assuming Mixon sits, that theory will be bolstered or debunked depending on how Cam Akers fares in what could be a 15+ touch outing.
Saints -- Chris Olave *should* be one of fantasy's best buy-low WRs.
Eagles -- 27-year-old Britain Covey caught all six of his targets last week in place of the injured A.J. Brown on only 23 snaps. That doubled his career target total. Jahan Dotson did almost nothing on 56 snaps. None of that makes sense, except it does if we believe Dotson is unrosterable in every league.
Steelers -- Once again, can Justin Fields keep his job? Last week I suggested as long as Pittsburgh keeps winning, then Fields simply can't look bad. So far, it's working, and fantasy managers should brace for some breakout performances once he gets more comfortable in this offense (and more comfortable with his hold on the job).
Chargers -- Quentin Johnston was the butt of jokes last year. Last Sunday he flipped the script. A fluke, or is he poised to become at minimum a weekly streamer?
Buccaneers -- Once again, Rachaad White vs. Bucky Irving. The former entered this season as one of the biggest RB injury/regression risks. The latter entered this season as one of the top handcuffs. From my perspective, it's always been only a matter of time.
Broncos -- Is Courtland Sutton droppable in most leagues? Managers need to hope he's traded to a team with a thin WR corps.
Raiders -- Sell high on Brock Bowers, or is he this year's Sam LaPorta?
Panthers -- If Andy Dalton plays even slightly better than Bryce Young, Diontae Johnson and/or Adam Thielen could be useful, giving managers a little more lineup flexibility as we approach the start of bye weeks.
Seahawks -- As some you might remember, Jaxon Smith-Njigba (WR40 ADP) was one of my biggest preseason bargains. His push past Tyler Lockett seemed assured. Now it's legitimate to ask if he can outscore D.K. Metcalf the rest of the season.
Dolphins -- Whether it's Skylar Thompson, Tyler Huntley, or a currently unrostered QB, for as long as Tua Tagovailoa is sidelined, this offense could be a weekly crapshoot. Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle are buy-lows in some circles and sell-highs in other circles. Depends on which way you and your opponents assess their fluctuating market values.
Cowboys -- As subscribers know, Jalen Tolbert was one of my biggest preseason bargains across any position (overall-145 ranking vs. overall-266 ADP). Can he become a weekly deep-league streamer?
Ravens -- Mark Andrews vs. Isaiah Likely. Or (as painful as this is to write) will it not matter in a run-friendly offense that already has Zay Flowers and a re-ascending Rashod Bateman?
Rams -- How will the (sadly) new-look L.A. receiving corps shake out with no Cooper Kupp or Puka Nacua?
49ers -- With Deebo Samuel out and George Kittle doubtful, the stars are aligned for Brandon Aiyuk -- assuming he's back to his old self.
Cardinals -- Trey McBride (TE4 / overall-48 ADP) was one of my biggest TE busts this summer. He was the TE9 / overall-76 on my draft board based on inflated 2023 stats due to a lack of substantial competition. He's currently the TE4. If you ignored me, great job. Now sell high.
Lions -- Jameson Williams has thrived at the expense of Amon-Ra St. Brown and Sam LaPorta. These three players' values will almost certainly shift -- and continue shifting -- throughout the year.
Falcons -- Can this Kirk Cousins-led passing attack get on track?
Chiefs -- How will the backfield shake out with Isiah Pacheco on the shelf for what could be the whole season?
