Week 14 Monday Night Football Preview

First, a huge congratulations to those of you who clinched the playoffs yesterday. And to those who fell short, you're not alone.

For the first time since 2012--since I started this blog--I missed out on the postseason. The streak spanned about 20 leagues (I used to compete in 2-3 per season). Won it all last year. This year, many of my opponents simply played better.

So . . . not that anyone needs to hear it, but it's reality: this is a mentally and emotionally challenging game. We can't control what happens on the field. We can only control how we feel about it, and what we do about it.

I'll have more thoughts on Sunday's games and their fantasy implications for Week 15. For now, some of you are still in the hunt, and it might all come down to what happens tonight. If you need something to happen, please share below so I can cheer you on.

I've got the Cards winning 22-19. James Conner could have a tough night going against a stout New England run defense. As a result, I've got Kyler Murry doing more of the heavy lifting, including on the ground. Not expecting more than 210 passing yards. But two scores seem realistic.

For the Pats, with Jakobi Meyers out, we might conclude DaVante Parker and/or Nelson Agholor could have a nice evening. But Rhamondre Stevenson clearly is the centerpiece. He has 17 carries and 18 targets in his last two games. Simply insane for a lead back, and with Damien Harris out, I believe Stevenson will deliver with New England's season nearly on the line.

Prediction? Share below. And again, if you need something to happen in this one, you don't have to cheer alone. Well, after tonight, you might have to cheer alone. But tonight I got your back.
