Fantasy Bingo, Premier Fantasy Football League, and Jaguars Receivers

Three things to quickly chat about today, and looking forward to hearing your thoughts. First, next week I'm going to unveil a new, free fantasy competition: "PFN Bingo." The rules are pretty simple. On September 1st, I'll paste all of the "final" player preseason ADPs into the "ADP" tab in the following Google Sheet:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/13SZPKEL8x861lE5yy4_E8fPS5D9jVXmMf1d7BXi9Aws/edit#gid=1399205694

Next, anyone who wants to compete simply needs to fill out a bingo card (see example on the "PFN Bingo Framework" tab). Copy and paste the 5x5 card into your own Google Sheet or Excel doc, plug in your favorite players (in the correct positional squares), and send me the link/file. I'll then paste it into my Google Sheet along with all the other entries, so that each week we can track how everyone's doing.

While developing this, I realized that I'd probably plug in most of the top players for every position. So yesterday I weighted it so that the worse the player's ADP, the higher his multiplier. So if Jonathan Taylor scores 340 PPR points, since he's the RB1, he'll earn you 340 points. But Clyde Edwards-Helaire has a 1.5 multipler for being the RB26. So if he scores 240 points this season, he'll net you 360. Similarly, Julio Jones currently has a 2.52 multiplier. If he scores 120 fantasy points, he might be better than some of the top 10 preseason WRs.

Again, it's free. No stakes. And nothing to do after submitting your bingo card. Next week, once the ADPs are pretty much finalized, I'll send out a link. You'll have until 8pm Eastern on September 8th to get it back to me. Or if someone knows how to create a Google Sheet where folks can paste content--but not edit other people's content--DM me. That would definitely make things easier.

Next, we have one vacancy for Season 4 of the 166-person Premier Fantasy Football League. It's late in the game, I realize. The draft is September 7th at 9pm Eastern. If you are a dedicated fantasy manager who refuses to give up, ping me. I'll answer any questions you have. First one to say "Heck yeah" gets the spot.

Finally, what are your thoughts on the Jaguars' receiving corps? Had an entertaining back-and-forth with a Jags fan on Twitter yesterday. I came down on the side of (I'm paraphrasing) "Marvin Jones will be the No. 2 WR, which should make him fantasy relevant." The Jag fan came down on the side of (paraphrasing again) "Zay Jones and Evan Engram will out-target him."

I've shared before why I don't trust Zay or Engram as fantasy assets. But am I, more likely than not, wrong? Will Marvin be phased out? Or do you agree that Zay and Engram are more throwaway draft picks than worthy investments?

Jacksonville's offense should be marginally-to-significantly better. There could be a lot at stake here--more than it might seem now. Trevor Lawrence will be better. His ceiling is sky-high. Christian Kirk appears locked in. So is Travis Etienne on the ground and (probably) through the air). But that leaves 400+ targets. Could someone else get 100+, and if so, who's your pick?
