Still too many questionable players heading into today's games. One of those weeks when many of us have to tune in 30 minutes before each set of kickoffs to make sure our key guys are playing. The Cardinals, Cowboys, Titans, Bills, and Jaguars are just a few of the many teams with startable fantasy players who might not play.
Last week I got back on track with my DFS 50/50 Lineup of the Week. Here's what I'm rolling with this week. Assuming CeeDee Lamb and Amari Cooper play (as of late Saturday night, more likely than not), I feel good. If both are inactive, I'd suggest going Ja'Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Using FanDuel scoring (as always) this swap would fit within the salary cap. If only CeeDee sits, plug in Justin Jefferson. If only Amari sits, go with D.J. Moore.
QB Joe Burrow ($7,600) -- I often swap in a few quarterbacks before making my final decision Saturday. So much upside with so many QBs. But with Cleveland on the ropes and Cincinnati playing at home, I see Burrow pouncing. This easily could be a 300/3 day.
RB Alvin Kamara ($9,400) -- A no-brainer, despite the steep price tag.
RB Joe Mixon ($7,400) -- Because this is a 50/50 play, the QB/RB hedge often works, especially when the team should put up plenty of yards and points. We could go cheaper with someone like Devontae Booker or even Zack Moss, but I prefer a bellcow like Mixon.
WR CeeDee Lamb ($7,500) -- So much upside these days, as long as he's good to go.
WR Amari Cooper ($6,900) -- Same as CeeDee; should be priced higher.
WR Jaylen Waddle ($6,100) -- Facing the Texans. No DeVante Parker. Plenty of targets on tap. Good odds.
WR Brevin Jordan ($4,600) -- Ideal price. Ideal matchup. A rookie connecting with an improved quarterback (Tyrod Taylor instead of Davis Mills). Again, good odds.
FLEX Brandin Cooks ($6,800) -- So many targets and facing Miami. Enough said.
DST Giants ($3,500) -- Could go either way. Could cut back at RB or WR and upgrade here. But DST ceilings are usually capped at around 18, barring a monster performance. So I'd rather use salary on higher-upside positions.
Good luck today.
