Week 10 DFS 50/50 Lineup of the Week

A lot more has happened since yesterday morning. Ben Roethlisberger is out. Mason Rudolph's career QB rating at home is 94.9, while Ben has the fewest fantasy points of any QB who's played every game this season. In my view, Rudolph could be Pittsburgh's best quarterback in 2021; we'll know more after today.

Kyler Murray looks likely to sit today, and DeAndre Hopkins probably isn't far behind. It's been a challenging season for many of us who invested in Arizona's top 3 offensive weapons on draft day.

Damien Harris is officially out, so Rhamondre Stevenson could finally get the run he's deserved all season.

Julio Jones was placed on injured reserve. Has there ever been a 7-2 team that's thrived despite this much adversity? By the way, Geoff Swaim is my favorite "no one in their right mind would start him" fantasy flyer this week. Four catches in each of his last two games. The Saints are great against the run. Marshon Lattimore might shadow A.J. Brown. Who will Ryan Tannehill pass to? Swaim is the expert-consensus TE-37 in Week 10. He's a great deep-league streamer.

And now, the DFS 50/50 Lineup of the Week. I have enough hedges to hide a zoo. (Does that analogy work? Still on the fence.)

QB Carson Wentz ($7,500) -- I could spend $800-$1,200 more on Tom Brady or Josh Allen. But given how the rest of the lineup is shaking out, this makes the most sense for 50/50. In Brady's case, could we not imagine Leonard Fournette running it in three times? Wentz + fantasy's #1 RB is a solid combo.

RB Jonathan Taylor ($9,400) -- And here we go. Facing the Jaguars, I'm assuming Indy's TD over/under is 3.5, or maybe even 4. Also safe to assume Wentz and Taylor will combine for at least three of them--and if they connect on a TD reception, this lineup could shape up to be a big winner.

RB Najee Harris ($9,400) -- No Big Ben? No problem. Harris should be more than fine against Detroit.

WR Mike Evans ($7,400) -- Of all the higher-priced wideouts this week, Evans seems like a reasonable wager with Chris Godwin questionable, and with Antonio Brown and Gronk out.

WR Tyler Johnson ($5,100) -- And here comes another hedge. Johnson is the real deal talent-wise. Will he step up like we (sort of) saw last week? For $5,100, I'm willing to bet on it.

WR Donovan Peoples-Jones ($5,600) -- Perhaps Baker Mayfield's new #1 receiver. Depends whether Jarvis Landry gets back on track. For now, DPJ is a boom-bust option, but at least he's pretty cheap.

TE Pat Freiermuth ($5,100) -- As long as he remains undervalued, I'll keep pushing him.

FLEX D'Ernest Johnson ($5,400) -- Another hedge! Between DPJ and Johnson, we should see some yardage and scores. Maybe 18+ fantasy points combined? Not bad.

DST Bills ($5,000) -- Likely a top-5 Week 10 DST. As safe as it gets, or one would hope.

Good luck today.
