Final Thoughts Heading Into Sunday Week 11

Approaching things differently this morning. Every 24 hours recently, it seems more big news hits. Making sense of the big news matters more than ever. So here's how I'm making sense of it, and hopefully this helps some of you.

As of late Saturday night, Colt McCoy appears to have a better chance of starting than Kyler Murray. Kyler started three times this week, but remains a game-time decision. He'll test things out beforehand. The problem for some of us is that "testing things out beforehand" is too late to swap in a decent QB. I had five QBs to choose from on waivers and went with Trevor Lawrence (the other three were Joe Flacco, Big Ben, Trevor Siemian, and Tim Boyle). If you have Kyler, be prepared. I'm in a deep league with few options. You might have more, and you don't want to get left empty-handed if Kyler sits again.

Marquise Brown is out. Lamar Jackson is heavily questionable with a "cold." This cold was first reported on Thursday or Friday. Figured it would have gone away by now. Not used to seeing players sit becase of colds. But if it happens, all bets are off for any Raven player against the Bears. If Lamar starts, Rashod Bateman and Mark Andrews would be the biggest winners.

Miles Sanders is back. But what does this mean? Are Jordan Howard and, to a lesser extent, Boston Scott now irrelevant? And remember when Kenneth Gainwell was a big fantasy waiver add? I'm steering clear of this backfield against the #1 run D in the league (the Saints).

Clyde Edwards-Helaire is also back. This situation is, ironically, a little easier to predict. CEH and Darrel Williams should both be involved today. It's hard to imagine either one getting relegated to irrelevancy. But Williams has outplayed CEH this year, so even if CEH is the nominal starter, both guys enter Week 11 with comparable value.

And small but potentially meaningful news: Tony Jones has been activated. Can we trust the nearly 32-year-old Mark Ingram to carry the load? Probably. But Jones was a trendy late-round draft pick and showed pretty well in limited touches. I could just as easily see Ingram crack 14+ fantasy points as I could see him stumble for 50 total yards, ceding touches to Jones as the game goes on.

We are here all morning to give our two cents on any start/sit questions you have. We don't have answers. We have opinions based on following this stuff 12 hours a day, seven days a week. So take it for what it is, and know that our intentions are sound: we want to help you win, period.
