Sticking to football because you can go anywhere for national news, and some of you desperately need a win this week.
The Packers' backfield probably will feature a fourth-stringers Tyler Ervin and/or Dexter Williams tomorrow night. It's an ugly situation. Aaron Rodgers and Davante Adams are the clear winners, while Robert Tonyan and at least one other receiver should benefit. Assuming Aaron Jones sits again, this is of course an ideal time to buy low on the bellcow if your opponent is 3-5 or even 4-4 and desperate for a win.
Since I'm accidentally talking about Thursday Night Football, might as well continue with George Kittle and Deebo Samuel and Jimmy G. sitting. Thanks to that and a reduced running attack, Brandon Aiyuk gets at least one more week to shine. That said, his following weeks will feature (possibly) Marshon Lattimore, a bye, and (possibly) Jalen Ramsey. He's a nice cash-out option if you can get top-20 value.
Myles Gaskin will miss the next few games, opening the door for some combination of Matt Breida, Jordan Howard, Patrick Laird, and newcomer DeAndre Washington. With Tua Tagovalloa "leading" the offense, this backfield is officially a mess. There is no longer a semi-trustworthy fantasy starter on this team. Even the Jets have Jamison Crowder.
