Leonard Fournette and Mohamed Sanu

A few things today. First, once again, no top 300 fantasy rankings this summer. Several people have asked. Not doing it has left a small hole in my fantasy heart. It will be filled next July.

Also, Leonard Fournette: That was interesting. The Bucs are giving Tom Brady every chance to win another title. Not that Fournette is the answer, but I happen to be one of those people (apparently there aren't many) who believe a chance of scenery could turn Fournette into a rich man's Jordan Howard. He and Ronald Jones will compete for a 1A role. Dare Ogunbowale (RB-107 ADP) remains a decent top-65 flyer for those very deep leaguers. LeSean McCoy (RB-57) needs a miracle to be relevant--or even remain on the team. And Ke'Shawn Vaughn (RB-45) probably wishes any other team had drafted him.

And Mohamed Sanu: A lot's happened since Bill Belichick (ridiculously? can I say ridiculously?) gave up a second-round pick for him. An injured ankle can be blamed for not living up to expectations. But I didn't like the trade at the outset from a fantasy perspective, and was very public about it, to the consternation of Patriot fans and Sanu drafters. This latest move gives New England cap space to find another receiver. For now, N'Keal Harry (WR-65) is a nothing-to-lose late flyer, while the crazily underappreciated Damiere Byrd (WR-357) could sneak into the starting lineup Week 1.

But to be clear, I'm fully expecting Belichick to trade for a #2 or #3 wideout to bolster what might be the weakest New England receiving corps in more than a dozen years. My eye is on Danny Amendola, John Ross, Andy Isabella, or (if Buffalo gets the right price) Cole Beasley. Who do you think Belichick has his eye on?
