With news yesterday that the commissioners of the top five college football conferences met to discuss the fate of this season, today I have a very basic question: if college football shuts down, should the NFL follow?
What struck me was this quote to Sports Illustrated: "“In the next 72 hours college football is going to come to a complete stop.” So it sounds like we could be on the verge of a major decision. Candidly I can't see how the NFL proceeds if all major college programs opt out.
By the way, I decided last night to officially postpone the FF4W top 300 rankings until next year. Same goes for the Premier League. I'll keep writing daily content as long as there's a chance of having an NFL season. So tomorrow we'll pick back up with talking football and assessing player values.
