Week 6 DFS 50/50 Lineup of the Week

Last week's DFS disappointment dropped me to 2-3 on the season. In fairness, my lineup racked up 147.84 points, which was less than three points shy of my high for the season, and was my fourth highest score in my past 15 50/50s (a large majority of those 50/50s were winners). In other words, in nearly every other week since starting this on FF4W in 2017, 147.84 points would have been more than enough.

But obviously that excuse is far less than enough. A win is a win, and a loss is a loss. Despite not knowing how certain questionable tags will break (for example, David Johnson vs. Chase Edmonds), I feel fairly bullish about the following lineup. So while anything can happen, I feel good about it:

QB Lamar Jackson ($8,200) -- As I wrote last week or the week before, his floor is as high as any QB's. His matchup against the Bengals is too good to pass up.

RB Ezekiel Elliott ($8,500) -- Still waiting for a vintage bust-out performance from Zeke. But he's averaging a healthy 4.5 YPC. While the opposing Jets are very good against the run, Zeke should be a safe top-16 performer with (of course) massive upside). Perfect for a DFS 50/50.

RB Le'Veon Bell ($6,800) -- Similar to Zeke's outlook, except Dallas's D is giving up one more yard per carry than the Jets' D. And Bell's superior passing-game usage--as well as his shockingly cheap price--make him a fantastic DFS play.

WR Adam Thielen ($7,200) -- While I often avoid targeting players coming off monster weeks, the opposing Eagles' secondary is a mess, and Thielen is relatively cheap given his upside. Oh, and also . . .

WR Stefon Diggs ($5,800) -- . . . Thielen makes more sense as a hedge to Diggs. In light of Philly's formidable run D (3.2 YPC), Minnesota will need more than usual from Kirk Cousins. So realistically Thielen and/or Diggs will come up big.

WR Tyler Lockett ($6,300) -- A surprisingly low price for the #10 fantasy WR. Although I'm not huge on Russell Wilson today, Lockett's been Seattle's #1 fantasy WR each of the past four weeks. I like those odds.

TE Jason Witten ($5,000) -- Given the guys I want elsewhere, I'll settle for the TD-dependent Witten.

FLEX Julio Jones ($8,500) -- Two consecutive quiet weeks. Terrible pass defense.

DST Vikings ($3,600) -- Surprisingly, I had planned to start the Dolphins ($3,700) with my remaining $3,700. But I'd rather roll with a better defense vs. a better team.

Good luck today.
