A couple weeks ago I wrote about a new kind of contest that I'd like to introduce to the FF4W community. The FF4W Challenge takes a few minutes to complete, is completely free, and is guaranteed to leave you wondering in December, "Wait, am I still competing in this?"
Here's how to play:
Step 1: Review the PPR average draft position (ADP) for every player. We'll use Fantasy Pros' ADPs to keep things universal.
Step 2: Pick any player from the 1-10 ADP group, another player from the 11-20 ADP group, and so on through the 71-80 ADP group. Your team must consist of two QBs, two RBs, two WRs, a TE, and a flex option (RB, WR, or TE).
Step 3: Pick any two players outside the top 300 ADP. These are your superflex players, and can come from any of the six core positions: QB, RB, WR, TE, K, and/or DST.
Step 4: Submit your 10-player team to me by 8:00pm Eastern on Thursday, September 5 (right before the opening kickoff).
When the season ends, I'll crown two winners: the manager whose players racked up the most fantasy points, and the manager whose players collected the most fantasy points per game (based on pro-football-reference.com's 2019 season stats)
Where do you go to determine ADPs? Here:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1T4nE2DO7aaHTo_onBcX6_Kil0sCOZL5e0tc9fXx_Ros/edit?usp=sharing
Simply copy and save the file on your desktop, fill out your roster, and e-mail it to me at fantasyfootballforwinners@gmail.com.
One warning: Use only the ADPs in the above Google Sheets file. Everyone has to use the same criteria. For example, James Conner's official ADP is 11. If your roster includes him as a member of the 1-10 ADP group, your entry won't be counted.
The FF4W Challenge ADPs are frozen. So whether you submit something to me today or Thursday morning, we'll all be using the same info.
Drop me a line if you have questions, and good luck if you throw your hat in the ring.
