Some rapid-fire topics on this final Friday before the regular season begins:
If you're drafting this weekend and want access to the FF4W Top 300 Preseason Rankings, sign-ups are at on the big blue registration form at www.fantasyfootballforwinners.com. More than 200 of you have registered so far. These are not generic rankings; they're internally updated daily and distributed twice a week (three times this past week) to reflect every injury, every depth chart shift, and every other known impact to each player's potential 2018 production. With many of you drafting tomorrow or Sunday, the next updates will go out each of the next two mornings to ensure subscribers have the latest info.
I probably won't have time to do the 4:44 podcast again this year. Definitely want to highlight bargains and busts each week, but not sure if a written column would be more effective. About 50-75 people listened each week last season, so I need to be able to justify the 2-3 hours invested each week to produce it. Feel free to comment or message me if you have a strong opinion.
For the second straight year I'll offer my "ideal DFS 50/50 lineup" every Sunday morning for that day's games. Last year they hit 69% of the time. The bar has been set. Will do my best.
The past 75 days I've tried to continually offer content-rich fantasy perspectives. It's been the culmination of a lot of research starting in early June, on through to this morning. Once Week 1 kicks off, we all know things will move a lot faster. Plenty of underperformers, plenty of surprising performers, and plenty of injuries. Will the slumpers break out of it, and if so, how long can we afford to hold on? Are the surprising performers headed toward regression? What are the implications of each injury?
I, along with the FF4W commenting team comprised of Aaron, Joel, Matt, Robbie, and Tommy, will do our best to make sense of it all. We encourage you to help us make sense of it, too. Keep calling us out when you disagree. Share perspectives that we haven't covered. Push all of us to be better.
