First, let's tip our hats to the fantastic FF4W commenters who've put in hours and hours (and hours) researching and answering questions: Tommy Barnett, Robbie Lange, Joel Verzosa, Aaron Weaver, and Matt Weavil. If you've asked a question this season, there's a good chance one of these guys has answered it. For several years it was just me doing this, and I can't express how grateful I am to have their much-needed help this season.

Yesterday we saw a fairly comfortable Lions win against a beleaguered Bears offense that's surpassed 17 points only four times all season. Matthew Stafford fell short of my lofty expectations, but his production should place him in the low-end QB1 camp this week. I also expected more from Golden Tate, who'd been solid in four of his previous six games. On the flip side, I hit big on Eric Ebron, Kendall Wright, and (warning about) the overrated Jordan Howard.
In the nightcap, my predictions for Alex Smith, Kareem Hunt, and Philip Rivers flat-out connected, while I missed a bit on the underutilized Travis Kelce.
For today's games, my weekly bargains/busts podcast is now available. As always, it clocks in at four minutes and 44 seconds. People who listen to it have lost nothing . . . except four minutes and 44 seconds. Now that's a bargain:

Finally, here's my DFS 50/50 Lineup of the Week:
QB Russell Wilson ($8,400) -- The safest fantasy QB out there. Steep price, but saving $1,000 to land Blake Bortles isn't justifiable.
RB Devonta Freeman ($7,000) -- With Tevin Coleman sidelined, Freeman could get 25+ touches. In a favorable matchup, he's underpriced.
RB Kenyan Drake ($6,500) -- Similarly, Drake should dominate touches, even if Buffalo jumps out to a sizable lead (which probably won't happen). I had planned to start Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram in what should be a blowout over the Jets. Instead, I'm saving salary cap space for better receivers.
WR Julio Jones ($8,400) -- A must-win game, a beatable defense, . . . I like Julio's odds.
WR Adam Thielen ($7,600) -- Case Keenum's favorite target in a favorable matchup.
WR Michael Crabtree ($7,100) -- Strongly debated whether to start Devin Funchess instead. But you're getting more targets and more catches with Crabtree with virtually the same TD potential.
TE Greg Olsen ($5,600) -- Overnight, I've become bullish about Olsen. Did I dream about him? Probably not. But ignore last week's goose-egg. A healthy Olsen in a very friendly home matchup is all you could ask for.
K Josh Lambo ($4,700) -- With Leonard Fournette sidelined, Jacksonville will find it just a tiny bit tougher to score in the red zone.
DST Saints ($4,600) -- If they don't score 12+ points, my entire understanding of the fantasy universe will come undone. If they put up 22+ points, I won't be surprised.
Good luck, everybody.
