Recent Thanksgiving Games History

I don't have much to add off of yesterday's Thursday games predictions, except one thing:

Don't get caught up in the idea that home teams have a particular advantage on Thanksgiving day. Historically in the NFL, home teams win around 58% of the time. This decade, they've won 48% of the time on Thanksgiving. Their mark in the last 20 years is 51%.

Granted, some of this might be due to competitiveness, as the Lions had only one winning season between 1998 and 2010. But the reality is, the Lions and Cowboys are not locks to win today; only the Redskins are (yes, they are).

So don't count out Case Keenum or Philip Rivers. The day's first two games should be competitive.

Enjoy the day, and good luck.
