My latest 4-minute, 44-second bargains/busts podcast is now up:

I started this podcast for the same reason I started this blog: the obvious is meaningless, the unconventional is meaningful, and accuracy matters. This season my podcast has featured 116 unconventional predictions; 70 have proved accurate--a 60% success rate. Anyone can tell you to start Antonio Brown. But it's guys like Kenny Stills (Week 7) and Brandon LaFell (Week 8) who can be difference makers.

If you have five minutes between today and tomorrow, give it a listen and tell me what you think. Challenge me on what I get wrong (or on what you think I'll get wrong). And if it helps you, tell me so I'll know it's worth continuing.

This podcast is an experiment to see if a "just-the-facts" approach to fantasy podcasting interests people. I enjoy listening to "Mike & Mike" and other shows. But rarely do I hear something I didn't already know. The same goes for TV shows like Sunday NFL Countdown, which offers no fantasy insights you couldn't find on any fantasy news site.

I'm not knocking these programs. They're entertaining. But from a fantasy perspective, they're safe and ordinary. And we don't win titles by following the safe and ordinary.
