Ranking Shifts: Andrew Luck, Mike Gillislee, Martavis Bryant, and Austin Seferian-Jenkins

Each passing day brings the fantasy world closer to the (possible) realization that Andrew Luck won't be ready to start Week 1. All summer I've ranked him based on the expectation of a 16-game season. Long confused by his QB-5 ADP, today I've dropped him from 10th to 11th. If there's still no timetable by next week, he'll slide another spot. While I don't yet see a need to markedly shift T.Y. Hilton's and Donte Moncrief's value, we need to be ready to make adjustments if Luck's return remains murky.

Today I also dropped Mike Gillislee several RB spots and elevated Rex Burkhead to an RB5/6. For some of you, this decision might be well overdue. A hamstring injury has sidelined Gillislee for a week; he has done little this preseason to earn starter's snaps. This shift will continue for as long as Gillislee is sidelined; when he returns, I'll reassess. But we all know the story in New England: Bill Belichick often shuffles through RBs like a deck of cards; the top card doesn't always remain on top for long.

Martavis Bryant has been cleared for preseason games, bringing him a step closer to full reinstatement. One of the league's most impressive young receivers (14 receiving TDs on 76 career catches), Bryant has also missed 11 of 32 games and is one poor decision away from being out of the NFL for a while. Today he's ticked up a few notches on my draft board. But all we can do it pencil him in, since0--more than most players--Bryant's fantasy prospects could rise or fall at any time.

While Austin Seferian-Jenkins isn't yet draftable, he's trending in the right direction. Quincy Enunwa's season-ending injury and the Jets' generally anemic passing attack paves the way for an ASJ revival. I'm not jumping on the bandwagon yet. But he's shown well in camp and is physically capable of amassing all the garbage-time yardage he can handle. He's now a solid final-round dart throw in very deep leagues and might be a couple good weeks away from cracking the top 16.
