Whether you’re still competing for a title or hoping to win some money
via daily fantasy leagues, here are my favorite Week 17 bargain QBs, all of
whom (except Landry Jones) have better than 50-50 odds of cracking top 12 QB
production.
Landry Jones ($6,000) is capable of top 16 QB numbers if Big Ben
sits. Although Le’Veon Bell and Antonio
Brown likely would be out, too, the team should have little trouble moving the
ball against Cleveland.
Sam Bradford ($6,700) is normally off the radar. But at that price, and in a home game against
Chicago, and with Jerick McKinnon heavily involved in the passing game (25
catches in the past four weeks), and with three competent receivers, Bradford is
worth the Hail Mary.
Matt Moore ($6,900) has played much better than I thought he
would. Now it’s time for Miami to
determine whether he or a healthy Ryan Tannehill (if Tannehill gets healthy)
will take the helm during the playoffs.
Consider this home game against New England a dress rehearsal. If Moore flourishes, he’ll deserve to keep
the job regardless of Tannehill’s status.
He’s worth the risk.
