Week 4 Sunday Preview

Posting an hour early (normally around 10:30 a.m. Eastern) because of today’s early game.  For that one, I’ve been pushing Blake Bortles on every sit-start question concerning Jacksonville’s struggling QB.  Bold prediction: Bortles will throw for 4+ TDs today, making everyone with Allen Robinson in their lineup extremely happy.  Allen Hurns is a must-start 80-yard-and-a-TD receiver.  Julius Thomas is hobbled, so I have no clue whether he’ll step up or retreat to the background.  And good ol’ Marqise Lee is a terrific flier in very deep leagues, as he should get 5+ catches.

On the other side of the field, T.Y. Hilton will be typical T.Y. Hilton, Phillip Dorsett (questionable: ankle injury) is active, and I’m expecting a rebound over last week’s dud.  Dwayne Allen is a TE1, and I don’t know what to make of Jack Doyle.  Is he for real?  I just don’t see it, but have been wrong so far this year.

Around the league, I see underwhelming performances from RBs LeSean McCoy, Christine Michael, Spencer Ware, and Latavius Murray (see high), while RBs Matt Jones, Terrance West, and Alfred Morris (by virtue of their terrible Week 4 rankings) are all in for much better days than expected.

At QB, I wouldn’t start Russell Wilson as a QB1, while Brian Hoyer (assuming he starts), Jameis Winston (brutal matchup, but still . . .), and Blaine Gabbert (per my outlandish podcast proclamation) are fantastic fliers in 14+ team leagues.

Good luck today.
