Bold Predictions 5 and 6: Dion Lewis and Delanie Walker

Some great push-back yesterday on my assessments of Le'Veon Bell and Josh Gordon.  Keep it coming.  I love agreement because I'm only human.  And I love well-reasoned disagreement because I want to learn.

Back to the bold predictions:

(5) Dion Lewis (RB-23 ADP) will be a top 14 RB – Lewis was pulled from obscurity last year (hadn’t seen game action since 2012) and became a fantasy star before tearing his ACL.  Perhaps due to health concerns, his ADP is not nearly good enough.  No other Patriot running back will come close to matching his weekly production.  And with Julian Edelman coming off surgery and Danny Amendola continually falling short of his potential, Lewis will be a key factor in the Pats' running and passing games.

(6) Delanie Walker (TE-6 ADP) will not be a top 14 TE – The most overrated tight end in fantasy, the nearly 32-year-old Walker has had successive career years after eight mostly forgettable campaigns.  More than 24% of all Tennessee passes last season went to him.  Only one of the 80 Fantasy Pros-compiled experts places him outside the top 9 (Draft Sharks’ Kevin English ranks him 11th).  He’s a poster child for why too many people pay too much attention to a player’s previous year’s stats with little regard for changing conditions.
