There is so much we don't know about Week 16: Which ailing players (Brees, AP, etc.) will play, which split-time RBs (James White, Christine Michael, etc.) are definitively startable.
So there's a lot of wait-and-see going on, which is compounded by the fact that tomorrow is Christmas, so we can't expect reporting to be as rigorous or comprehensive. Some nuggets that might otherwise prove very useful will fall through the cracks.
I'm in NYC with my family the next few days, so my activity will be spotty. But I'm still here to answer questions whenever a few available minutes pop up.
As for tonight, I've already talked up Derek Carr as a likely must-start fantasy QB if Amari Cooper plays. If Cooper doesn't, Carr still has strong top 12 potential, and Michael Crabtree would be a must-start WR with strong WR1 potential. Regardless of Cooper's status, Latavius Murray has bust-out potential; I believe he'll be an RB1 this week, with 100+ total yards and at least one score.
On the flip side, Danny Woodead's revival should continue with Melvin Gordon on I.R. Don't expect multiple TDs, but do expect 9+ points in standard leagues and 14+ in PPR. Philip Rivers should be good for 1-2 scores, but no more than that. I'm seeing a cap of 18 points with a 10-point floor. Antonio Gates should be in there unless you have a top 8 TE option. And either Dontrelle Inman or Stevie Johnson will be startable--but not both. If Johnson sits, I'd roll with Inman as a middling WR3/flex option for the desperate among us.
