Another day, another batch up Top 250 updates. We have only a few more days to fine-tune this list before Week 1 kicks off. And I still owe a few more bold predictions (out of town for a few days with the family, but plan to wrap up the bold picks next Tuesday and Wednesday).

Highlights:
1. The Houston Chronicle reported yesterday that Arian Foster’s expected back by “early October at the latest.” Those who drafted him in the middle rounds are increasingly likely to have earned a steal with Foster. He moves up my board from the #29 RB to #26.
2. Rueben Randle is undervalued. He’s been a WR5/6 on my draft board for over a month, and it’s time to move him up. He netted 938 yards last year and only three TDs. The yardage is repeatable. The TDs are his floor, not his ceiling. With Victor Cruz at risk of being less relevant than expected, Randle jumps from 57th to 47th among WRs—a weekly flex option in 12-team leagues starting three WRs.
3. WR Brandon LaFell falls from my #41 WR to #84 after being placed on the reserve/PUP list.
4. As I wrote a few days ago, Reggie Wayne was worthless from a fantasy perspective after signing with the Patriots, and I ranked him around 230th overall. Now he’s been released. Beyond Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman, New England’s receiving corps is wide open to start the season.
5. In a cost-cutting move, the Chargers have cut kicker Nick Novak, who was my seventh ranked fantasy kicker. I believe that makes three top 10 kickers (including two #1’s) who are on injured reserve or who’ve been released by their team. In other words, don’t trust what I say about kickers. Clearly my instincts are way off.
6. That said, I’ve added Pittsburgh’s third preseason kicker, Josh Scobee, to the top 250 as my #10 kicker. Volume should propel him to K1 status.
