Another Bold Prediction:
About a month ago I warned readers to avoid WR Victor Cruz at his WR-33 average draft position, predicting he won't finish among the top 45 players at his position. What's missing from this equation is the impact Cruz's relatively lackluster season will have on the Giants' #3 wideout, Rueben Randle.
Last year Randle earned a career-high 938 yards to go with only three TDs. After scoring twice in the first five contests, he reached the end zone only one more time, as Odell Beckham, Jr. took over. But Beckham's numbers (1,305 yards and 12 TDs in only 12 games) are likely not sustainable in 2015. We can expect a healthy regression; he's still a WR1, but not a 1,750-yard, 16-TD WR1.
Even with Cruz back in the fold (albeit gimpy to start the season), Randle should match or exceed last year's yardage total while adding some more TDs to his resume. While I'm not expecting a breakout, he's a very under-the-radar WR3 who will produce top 40 WR numbers.
