Under-the-Radar QBs to Target

If you're looking for a relatively cheap QB in your daily league, or a good plug-and-play option if your normal starter (Brady, Romo, etc.) might not make it through the whole game Sunday, here are three guys who should perform better than expected:

(1) Robert Griffin III is playing for relevance.  In D.C. there's been talk since early last year that RGIII might never reclaim the talent he exhibited in his 2012 rookie season.  If the Cowboys were playing for something, I could see this as a revenge game in response to Washington shocking Dallas earlier this season.  But there's a good chance RGIII will face less heat than normal, and should find more room to throw downfield.  Expect 275+ total yards and 2+ TDs.

(2) When Josh McCown was all but forgotten earlier this year after getting benched, this blog urged readers to start him in his first game back as a starter in Week 10.  He immediately paid dividends with a 300+ yard, 2-TD performance.  Expect something comparable this weekend.

(3) Teddy Bridgewater has thrown for 2 TDs in four of his past five games.  I'm going one better in Week 17: 3 TDs to go with 300+ yards.  He'll be drafted in a lot of leagues next year, and if he can get even a slight upgrade to his receiving corps, he could he in the top 14 QB conversation.
