Week 5 Predictions: Larry Donnell and Shane Vereen

Two players to focus on today--one on his way up, the other on his way down.

Larry Donnell had a mind-blowingly great game last week. But I'm always wary of TD-dependent players, especially tight ends. Yes, Donnell averages nearly eight targets per game. But 60 yards and no scores is a more realistic expectation for a guy who should finish the season behind Cruz, Randle, and Jennings in the touchdown category.

And as I mentioned in Sports Illustrated earlier this week, Shane Vereen is due to bust out. He's too good to be harnessed much longer. Given New England's o-line problems and the need to move the chains more frequently to take pressure off its defense, look for Vereen to net 12+ fantasy points today and to return to the RB2 conversation (and low-end RB1 in PPR) going forward.

And with that, good luck in Week 5.
