Top 10 Unconventional Fantasy Predictions FLASHBACK:
#1 . .
Last August I made 10 bold predictions--picks the "experts" wouldn't touch, for fear of looking stupid. By season's end, 7 of these picks proved to be accurate, while 2 others were partially accurate.
My #1 prediction last preseason seems obvious in hindsight. But 12 months ago, many famous prognosticators thought Michael Vick was a draftable fantasy commodity in a high-powered Eagles offense.
I thought otherwise, stating that he'd finish outside the top 15 fantasy QBs for two primary reasons: injury risk and high turnover ratio.
In the end, he played only 7 games because of injury, and turned the ball over almost as many times (5) as he scored (7).
Those who wasted an 8th or 9th rounder on Vick could have landed Michael Floyd, Antonio Brown, Zac Stacy, Jordan Cameron, or any other stud promoted by me and other dedicated researchers.
There's always a better way. My job is to help you find it.
