Sell High on Michael Vick

Michael Vick tied for the 4th most fantasy points among QBs in Week 1.  Here are some reasons why you should sell high.  Right now.

(1) Vick has been a turnover machine in recent years.  He committed only 1 last night, versus 3 TDs.  Expect that gap to close significantly by season's end.

(2) Vick has been prone to injury.  Early this morning, @gonzoCSN observed that the 33-year-old QB was "hobbling" after the game.  With 15 games to go, this is not a promising sign.

(3) Vick's solid performance came at the hands of a Redskins defense that is far from elite, and is just shy of middling.  Week's 15-17 come on the road against the Vikings, at home against the Bears, and on the road against the Cowboys: 2 decent defenses and 1 elite defense.

Is this the guy you want leading your team to an early playoff exit?  Will this guy still be on the field by Week 8?

Yes, Chip Kelly is running a "new" and "exciting" offense.  But Vick is still Vick.  He's a middling QB who re-entered the conversation after a great preseason and a solid opening night.  Ignore what others are saying.  Trade him now for an RB1/2 or WR1/2.  You won't regret it.
